Training Week 5: Last week of the year

Another week of travel, treadmills, and a different routine. Since Monday will be my rest day going forward, December 30 was my last run of 2018. I am finishing the year well, running more and stronger than I was at this time last year, and ready to train well for 2019.

Fundraising is also going really well. At the beginning of December I pledged to match all donations received in December, so later today I will be making a donation of $1237 to my fundraising campaign. I thank all of you who have supported my efforts so far.

Summary of the week (December 24-30):

Mon: 9K treadmill run
Tue: 6K outdoor run
Wed: Rest day
Thur: 11K outdoor run
Fri: 5K outdoor run
Sat: 8K outdoor run
Sun: 13K on treadmill, cutback long run

Total: 52K
